Are my files uploaded to your servers?
No. All PDF processing happens directly in your browser using JavaScript. Your files never leave your device and are never transmitted to any server. We have no access to your documents.
Is Cloud PDF App really free?
Yes. All tools are free to use with no account required. We support the service through non-intrusive advertising.
Is there a file size limit?
Since processing happens in your browser, limits depend on your device's memory rather than server restrictions. Most modern devices handle PDFs up to 100–200MB without issue.
What PDF operations are supported?
We support merging, splitting, compressing, rotating, reordering pages, extracting pages, deleting pages, adding page numbers, watermarking, password protection, unlocking, signing, redacting, converting to/from images, converting to/from Word, and more.
Do I need to create an account?
No account, no email, no registration of any kind is required. Open a tool, upload your file, and download the result.
What browsers are supported?
All modern browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. We recommend keeping your browser up to date for best performance.
Can I use these tools on mobile?
Yes. All tools are fully responsive and work on iPhone, Android, and tablet browsers.
Why is my PDF to Word conversion not perfect?
PDF to Word conversion is a challenging technical problem. Simple text-based PDFs convert very well. Complex layouts with multiple columns, special fonts, or images may lose some formatting. True content editing PDFs require desktop software like Adobe Acrobat for perfect results.
Can I convert password-protected PDFs?
To process password-protected PDFs, remove the password first using our Unlock PDF tool. You'll need the original password to do this.
How does PDF compression work?
Our compressor reduces image resolution, recompresses images at optimized quality settings, and applies stream compression — all without reuploading to a server. Results vary by content type; image-heavy PDFs see the most reduction.
Is my electronic signature legally binding?
The Sign PDF tool adds a visual signature image to your document. For legal enforceability, consult a legal professional — requirements vary by jurisdiction and document type.
Do you store any data about me?
